Medicare – Mental Health Care Plan
If you have a Medicare Plan (known as a Mental Health Care Plan) from your doctor, please bring the paperwork with you to the initial consultation, in order for the claim to be made.
The Medicare Rebate is $124.50 for each session, up to 10 sessions in a year.
The initial treatment plan will be for 6 sessions, and following a review from the doctor there can be another 4 sessions, a total of 10 sessions within a year.
Work Cover
If the referral is under Work Cover please ensure that your claim has been accepted and that you have prior agreement from the insurance company to pay for psychological treatment. Alternatively you may take responsibility for the payment yourself.
